In Europe, Toyota cars will be equipped with Touch & Go infotainment devices, starting next year. Toyota Motor Europe to develop the feature with Harman and TomTom. Harman is an audio specialist, while TomTom navigation service providers.
Announced at the Geneva Motor Show 2013, Touch & Go is designed as a platform for a complete entertainment and infotainment. TomTom HD Traffic will be a standard feature on Touch & Go system is the latest generation which was launched early 2014.
The advantages of this feature, the driver can access the traffic information more accurate, current and complete information from TomTom. This is to facilitate motorists Toyota could achieve its goals more quickly.

Users access the traffic information in realtime. HD Traffic can indicate the points where traffic is stalled or jammed. The system will suggest which route could be taken before the driver got stuck at that point. In a release, TomTom claims its coverage area the most extensive in Europe.
"We are trying to develop new products that not only meet customers' expectations, but even surpass them," said Derek Williams, GM Telematics & Multimedia, Toyota Motor Europe, as released by Toyota Indonesia.
William also added, by providing traffics TomTom HD connected as a built-in service, the customer will always get the best traffic information available today.
